Thank you.

I tried to make this message as short as possible.

I held off on sharing anything for a bit, but I wanted to express my appreciation to everyone who supported me in my Mayoral election. This municipal election was historic for Lyons with 53% of voters turning out compared to 38% turnout county-wide. Unfortunately, I lost by 1 vote, but an election like this really shows you that every single vote counts. Each individual contribution strengthens a greater purpose and without the individual, nothing greater is achieved.

I also wanted to personally thank a few people. I am extremely grateful for those who I ran aside: Tracey Sutton, Janet Lance, and Hallie Langley. Without their support, the campaign trail wouldn’t have been nearly as enjoyable or successful. While only Tracey made it onto borough council, I am confident she will have the energy and wisdom to carry the work forward with the same drive we all brought to the trail, fully representing the collective force we showed together on every doorstep and at every event.

A big thank you to my friends such as Melissa Mcalvage who bought me a shot on the first day I came to the Lyons Fire Company and made me feel welcomed into the community. So many people were extremely kind to me throughout this process, which warmed my heart dearly.

Last but absolutely not least, I would like to thank my girlfriend Ronnie for being my foundation throughout this campaign. She was my most valuable advisor and my brightest cheerleader.

I hope to have many more memorable experiences and bright moments with our community. There is no better feeling than feeling at home.
